Logistics Branch –
A logistic Branch Officer is responsible for day to day planning and execution of the inventory management of ship parts and other items including man and machinery and required for everyday running of ships. He is also involve with meeting the food and clothing requirements of the Naval personal, which plays a vast role in maintaining their ethical value. He is trained by the Navy in the field of Management, Planning, Execution, Building Relation and Teamwork and also coordinate and involve in all activities in ship. As a Logistics Officer the appointed person would be responsible for management of Integrated Supply chain activities within ship, with help of all communication and navigation tools for proper management. It is a very tough job where a strong officers sail against all odds the role is crucial for successful achievement of mission objectives.
- BE/B Tech in any discipline with 1st class or
- MBA with 1st class or
- B Sc/B Com/B Sc(IT) with 1st class and PG Diploma in finance/Logistics/Supply Chain Mgt/Material Mgt or
- MCA/M Sc(IT) with 1st class
